  • Valid driver’s license with past 7 years clean of any revoked or suspended license, non-reconciled traffic violations, etc.

  • Ability to pass a post-offer pre-employment comprehensive 50-state criminal background check.
  • You’ll need to be comfortable on roofs and be able to work safely with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, Respirators, Harnesses, Fall Protection, Climbing Helmets, Safety Glasses, Ear Protection, etc…  SAFETY is our #1 Priority!

Certified Fireplace & Hearth Technician Apprentice

Position Type:  Full Time, Non-Exempt
Starting Wage:  $15 per hour to Start, + Benefits Package.  Earn while you learn.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED as a minimum.  College or Trade School is preferred.
Experience Required: Construction, 1-year minimum  (Note: DIY not acceptable.)
Required License or Certification:  Valid Driver’s License w/No Major or Unreconciled Violations
Days/Hours Required: Monday-Friday 7 am – ?; Occasional Saturdays as needed.  Overtime as required.

  • Certified Fireplace and Hearth Technician Apprentice Candidates will have a desire to learn about our industry, enjoy working outdoors, and the opportunity to advance within our company.
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year of basic construction or service trades experience, which could include framing, roofing, brickwork, remodeling, or other types of construction or service.  (Not DIY.)  CANDIDATES WITHOUT CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
  • During training, you will work in many positions within our company ranging from a service truck, an installation crew, or a masonry crew.
  • Advancement to Certified Technician will occur once certifications and training have been satisfactorily completed (which is totally dependent on how hard you study and how quickly you fully master the required skills).
  • The qualified applicant will train to quickly move into a position of running a professional Service and Installation truck for our company.
  • There will be home-study materials provided and the completion of those study materials will be required on a strict timeline.  Classroom and on-the-job field training will be required with CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep Certification and Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician Certification expected to be completed within 120 days of hire.
  • Sales Commissions are an integral part of our compensation package.

Certified Fireplace / Chimney / Hearth Technician

Position Type:  Full Time, Non-Exempt
Wage:  $32,000 – $45,000+, + Commission, + Benefits Package
Required Education:  High School Diploma or GED as a minimum.  College or Trade School is preferred.
Experience Required: Hearth Industry or HVAC Service/Installation 1 Year Minimum  (Note: DIY not acceptable)
Required License or Certification: Current CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep and/or NFI Gas or Wood Specialist Certification.  If you have an HVAC Certificate or License, you are eligible to train for this position.
Days/Hours Required: Monday-Friday 7 am – ?; Occasional Saturdays as needed. Overtime as required.

  • If you are ALREADY currently certified within this industry (CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep or NFI Certified Specialist), you qualify for consideration.
  • This career position in the Hearth Industry involves the Service, Installation, and Repair of Fireplaces, Chimneys, Hearth Appliances & Hearth Accessories.  This position includes in-home solution-based sales.
  • If you have Hearth and/or HVAC experience working with gas control valves and troubleshooting, it will be very helpful and will likely be an advantage to you in the interview and selection process.
  • For a motivated person who has previous service work/installation/sales experience, is quick-to-learn, and can successfully apply and integrate what they’ve learned, they can fast-track into a full-time career position with benefits.
  • Sales Commissions are an integral part of our compensation package.
  • During training, you will work in many positions within our company ranging from a service truck, an installation crew, or a masonry crew.
  • Advancement to Fully Certified Technician will occur once certifications and training have been satisfactorily completed (which is totally dependent on how hard you study and how quickly you fully master the required skills).

Sales Professional

Position Type:  Full Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation:  Base + Commission + Benefits Package
Required Education:  High School Diploma or GED as a minimum.  College or Trade School is preferred.
Experience Required:  2 years Construction/Home Improvement Sales Minimum, Verifiable
Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License w/No Major or Unreconciled Violations
Days/Hours Required: Monday-Friday, Occasional Saturdays depending upon the client’s availability.
Vehicle:  Vehicle Mileage & Fuel Allowance Provided or Vehicle Provided

  • This position includes in-home solution-based sales and in-showroom sales.  It also involves outside sales and new business development (B2B) with other contractors.
  • We are actively involved with Residential & Commercial projects.
  • Project Communication/Management will also be involved.

Fireplace / Chimney / Hearth Installer or Assistant

Position Type:  Full Time, Non-Exempt
Wage: $15 – $16 to Start (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits Package.  Earn while you learn.
Required Education:  High School Diploma or GED as a minimum.  College or Trade School is preferred.
Experience Required: Basic Construction, Hearth Industry, or HVAC Installation 1 year minimum  (Not DIY.)  CANDIDATES WITHOUT CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License w/No Major or Unreconciled Violations
Days/Hours Required: Monday-Friday 7 am – ?; Occasional Saturdays as needed. Overtime as required.

  • This career position in the Hearth Industry involves, but will not be limited to the Installation of Fireplaces, Chimneys, Hearth Appliances & Hearth Accessories.
  • There will be home-study materials provided and the completion of those study materials will be required on a strict timeline.  Classroom and on-the-job field training will be required with NFI Specialist Certification expected to be completed within 120 days of hire.
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year of basic construction or service trades experience, which could include framing, roofing, brickwork, remodeling, or other types of construction or service. (Not DIY.)  CANDIDATES WITHOUT CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
  • Assistants/Apprentices will be paired with Journeymen for varied jobs including assisting on masonry jobs, installations, repairs, etc.
  • For a motivated person who has previous service work/installation experience, is quick-to-learn, and can successfully apply and integrate what they’ve learned, they can turn this opportunity into a full-time career position with benefits.
  • If you have Hearth and/or HVAC experience working with gas control valves and troubleshooting, it will be very helpful and will likely be an advantage to you in the interview and selection process.

Experience Required: Hearth Industry or HVAC Service/Installation 1 Year Minimum  (Note: DIY not acceptable)
Required License or Certification: Current NFI Gas Certification or HVAC Certificate or License.
Days/Hours Required: Monday-Friday 7 am – ?; Occasional Saturdays as needed. Overtime as required.

  • If you are ALREADY currently certified within this industry (CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep or NFI Certified Specialist), you qualify for consideration.

Position Type:  Full Time, Non-Exempt
Starting Wage:  $15-$16 per hour to Start, + Benefits Package.  Earn while you learn.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED as a minimum.  College or Trade School is preferred.
Experience Required: Construction, 1-year minimum  (Note: DIY not acceptable.)
Required License or Certification:  Valid Driver’s License w/No Major or Unreconciled Violations
Days/Hours Required: Monday-Friday 7 am – ?; Occasional Saturdays as needed.  Overtime as required.

  • Mason’s Assistant Candidates will have a desire to learn about our industry, enjoy working outdoors, and the opportunity to advance within our company.
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year of basic construction or service trades experience, which could include framing, roofing, brickwork, remodeling, or other types of construction or service.  (Not DIY.)  CANDIDATES WITHOUT CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
